Well today is my birthday, along with my twin sister... we both shared our day with our mom. What a birthday gift, twins.

Joel's Birthday

So Saturday was Joel's birthday so we drove down from Crystal Springs to head to another pool, Roy Aquatic. As you can see Joel got a lot of neat stuff and everyone went swimming, for us it was more swimming. OWell we had a great time and Crystal made the best cake.

Crystal Springs

We took the weekend to go to Crystal Springs, haven't been there in many years. Hasn't changed much but Seth and Taylar spent Friday night and we have a ball at the pool.

What a husband I have, everytime we go on vacation I have to take a picture of what he is pulling. CRAZY.......

Birthday

As it gets closer to your birthday Jackson I can't keep you off my mind. I wonder how you would react to presents and all the hoopla, I wonder how you would enjoy your cake and ice cream, and I wonder how the smiles on Mom and Dads face told the entire story?

You would have been two and I can only imagine that you would be talking up a storm and giving big brother a run for him money.

I will keep you in my soul and never let you go. My heart if filled with Jackson except for the part you took to heaven with you. I feel the pain each and every day.

Thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.

IN MEMORY

It has been almost a year since my last blog, and life has handed our family some serious trials and devastation in the worst of ways. June 2009 I lost my youngest grandchild Jackson S. Thackeray due to a tragic accident....

Sometimes I wonder just what the lord has planned for us or why we are tested in such ways.

This truly amazing 14 month old little boy was a gift from GOD, full of smiles and love.

Through Jackson I have grown a stronger faith, life is short we need to live it to the fullest.

On that June day I lost a corner of my heart and gained an ANGEL in heaven.

I will see Jackson again and when I do we will have a joyous reunion.

My heart now is with my son and his wife (Sharee), they need our support and understanding.

THIS IS FOR JACKSON for we will see you again.

Glenn's Ferry

What a wonderful weekend we had at Glenn's Ferry. We all took Friday off and headed out to spend the weekend of fun and relaxation. Mandy, Spence and the kids, my cuz Brent, Sandy with a couple of their friends, Robin and I all went. It was a BLAST!!!!

Of course Robin was the cook for the weekend, that is something he just has to lay stake to, and no one dares to take it from him. LOL

So after the cooking is all done, we get to enjoy the great food.

Mother's Day 2009

Mother's day was a wonderful day we invited Robin's mom and dad, all the kids and grandkids came over, we had a barbecue. It was great.

Grandma great always enjoys opening up her gifts.

light of her eyes.

I bought airplanes for the little ones to play with for the day and they could not have

had any more fun than with those planes

Easter Dinner & Fun 2009

The family had dinner at Crystal and Shane's house and spent the day hunting Easter eggs, hanging out and enjoying each others company. Grandma and Grandpa great came and spent the day and enjoyed themselves as well.

When we first got there we enjoyed some conversation and caught up on each others lives and what have been going on with them.

After a while we had a wonderful dinner, Crystal cooked a really nice ham, Mandy brought twice baked potato's, Sharee make a great jello salad grandma great made the rolls and I made my usual eggs. Dinner as always is wonderful.

Then after desert settled it was time for the Easter Egg hunt. Wow that was the biggest hit, the kids just loved it....

After the egg hunt the kids spent the rest of the day just simply playing. There is nothing more relaxing then watching your little ones playing in the back yard and loving it. Life can be so full of blessings and its day like this we need to remember just how lucky we are and cherish each and every person and each and every day we get.....

I am so blessed I just cant say it enough, to have such a wonderful family.

Look at what beautiful grandchildren I have, Jackson (Jay's son) and Taylar (Mandy's) daughter.

Jay is such a tease, I don't know who he was trying to give a heart a tack Kendra or grandma....LOL

My little football player, Chance is such a sportsman, Grandpa Beano couldn't be more proud

Grandpa and Grandma Great had pictures taken with all the grandkids per family and can you image that Joel (Crystal's) smiled so great we only had to take this one picture. Joel is so photogenic that pictures of this beautiful little guy come out perfect. Isn't he gorgeous?


And last but not least Grandpa and Grandma Beano with all the grandkids. (from left) Taylar, Kendra, Chance (behind) Seth (front) Joel, Jackson. It is so surprising to me that Taylar is crying, she hardly ever cries, I am wondering if those dreaded hormones are setting in.... LOL

Birthday Bash

April Parties. So April is a very busy month for the Thackeray family it started with the Anniversary of Robin and I on the 8th then Jay and Sharee got married on April 10th. They had Chance their oldest son on April 16th and Jackson was born April 9th one year ago.
Saturday night we celebrated birthdays at Jay and Sharee's house. The next few pictures really tell you that the parties are really for the children because you can certainly see how much fun the adult men had...LOL
