Thanksgiving is another great day for the family to get together and enjoy each others company. Grandma and Grandpa Great spent the day with us and it was such a wonderful day for everyone. All the kids and grand kids played most of the day before dinner and we all just relaxed after dinner. It was a great day with family.

Halloween 2008
Halloween is the start of my favorite time of the year, I just love from Halloween through New Year..
OK, I found a minute to add my Halloween pictures to my blog. The little ones came to visit grandma at work all dressed up for treats. That just made my day.... How cute are they?
Seth was the Pirate, Chance the ghost, Taylar the princess, Jackson the frog, Joel was the skunk and Kendra was the Cat. Grandma came as herself. LOL
Later that night these two little gobblins came to visit.
And of course I had to dress up the dogs, they just love it. Can you tell.....
However, just try to get a picture of all of them turned out to be the treat.........

A Day at the Pumpkin Patch
Today the girls and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch, we had a great time. This pumpkin was just a little big for the boys to bring home. LOL Next we found the slides, but it took alot of coxing to get the boys to go down them.
I wonder who was having more fun Seth or Mom? Joel was left behind.
Next it was on to the train ride, this was something that the kids could do alone. Moms had to just watch.

Can you tell the boys had a great time on this little ride? It was the cutest little ride, they pulled it around with a little tracker.
Then we where off to feed the Lama's, all the kids, even the moms loved it. Can you tell who it was taking all the pictures at up to this point? Of course grandma!
Finally what we came for a ride to get our pumpkins, but first more pictures.9/19/08
Day At Lagoon
OK after spending 10 days in our 5Th wheel, we took it to Lagoons camp ground for the following weekend to camp so we could spend that next Saturday with Spence, Mandy and the grandkids..... Go figure do we love our little ones?
First ride: could he been any more of a Joe cool? I wonder where he gets it from???

The one and only ride that I managed to get on was the train so I had to take a picture in the tunnel when it was black just to see how it would turn out, and yes this is how it turned out. OK so I got just a little laugh out of it.
As you can imagine this is how grandma and grandpa spent most of our day, that is after Seth was over his rides. We watched the little ones so mom and dad could do the big rides. Did that break our hearts? HECK NO, we loved it. But one thing maybe you have figured out by now, grandma did all the picture taking.

A perfect ending to the perfect day.
Here we are bright and early, ready and eager to go, Seth could hardly wait. Our camp spot couldn't have been in any better of a spot, we where right next to the park.
Look Ma no hands, what a little show off, thank goodness he has grown some, last year he was to short to ride most of the kiddie rides. He really made up for it this year...
Remember what I said about Joe cool earlier, and where did he get it from? Need I say more? No fear, grandma was hyperventilating as this thing was shooting high in the air, can you imagine Seth was having a bast.
I was the only one that didn't ride this one, it was a big hit with everyone, from what they said it was because the rider had more control on weather you went up or down, however you did get a little wet.
WOW, what a couple of big kids. I think these two had the most fun on this ride.
Seth just has to try and figure out all the buttons and whistles on all the rides.
A perfect ending to the perfect day.

Oregon Coast Vacation
WOW!! It sure has been a long time since my last posting... When working 2 jobs and planning a vacation, not much time left for much else. Robin was such a big help that I don't know what I would have done with out him. We took 10 day and drove to Oregon with my cousin Brent and Sandy Gibson, they go every year and knew just what to show first timers. Boy did we have a GREAT time... For the last couple of days of our vacation we stayed in Walport and did some crabbing, what an experience that was. Here are some pictures of the coast, BEAUTIFUL does not describe the scenic view. This is going to be long, I didn't realize how many pictures I had taken.
This would most likely the only picture I got of the Columbia River, I slept most of the first part of the way, poor Robin how much company could I have been.
This is Fort Stevens RV Park in Hammond, Oregon. We spent 5 nights and had a wonderful time. We camped amid the trees that I would have to say where 50 feet tall. This is Brent and Sandy, my cousin and his wife.
Nightly camp fires where great!!!!
Each night we had these darn raccoons come into camp for dinner, one night we had as many as five. They where as curious of us as we where of them.
I think I took two dozen pictures of them, they just didn't care about the flash of the camera.

This is a little out of context but it gives you a look of the trees that line the highway, they grow almost right up to the road.

This is a portion of a ship that sits on the beach at Fort Stevens, It has been there for so long that the ocean has slowly eroded it away.

Brent and Sandy posing for a picture.

Me and the girls posing for a picture, well maybe just me the girls where getting nosy.

The girls really thought that they would love this water, for the most part they really do love to go swimming, however the ocean, especially this part of the states is very cold. They got out as fast as they got in. It was really pretty funny.

Not before we got a few pictures of them in the ocean did they get out.

I couldn't pass this picture up.

The next group of pictures are of the coast as we drove to Newport, you can tell it was just a beautiful day, it was sunnier then the other pictures you can tell we had some fog. I can't tell you of all the locations so there won't be any descriptions. They are beautiful.

This was in Newport where sea lions gather to sleep and catch fish. I know that in my next life I want to come back as a sea lion. This is the life.

This was in Astoria where you could drive right on the beach. It was such a beautiful day

Of course Robin needed a picture of his truck on the beach at the ocean.

Robin wanted a picture of us in the ocean with the girls and as you can see the girls where not very happy to be there, we had to hold their collars. As I said earlier the water was as cold as ice.

This might give you a little better perspective of it.

Off again, headed to Walport.

Time to crab, does this look cold? You bet it does and it was every bit as cold as it looks....

Robin was new at this so he had to watch first to learn what to do and once he caught on he was more help to Brent. Or was he? LOL
Throwing out the cages.
Just a few the first go around.

This one was a keeper.

As much fun as the girls had and I am sure they had a good time, they where outstanding and on their best behavior. We had no worries with them. No barking, no wandering and no messes.

This is Tollbridge RV park in Parkdale, Oregon. Our second night, our first night we stayed at the Indian reservation at Penalton Oregon. We then drove along the Columbia River to our next RV park that we where going to stay at for the next 4 nights.
Robin and Brent goofing around, something they are good at.
We had such a good time, our camp was right next to each other and surrounded by bushed and trees.

Only a mother could love this old face.
