Birthday Bash

April Parties. So April is a very busy month for the Thackeray family it started with the Anniversary of Robin and I on the 8th then Jay and Sharee got married on April 10th. They had Chance their oldest son on April 16th and Jackson was born April 9th one year ago.
Saturday night we celebrated birthdays at Jay and Sharee's house. The next few pictures really tell you that the parties are really for the children because you can certainly see how much fun the adult men had...LOL

Robin & I will be married for 34 years can you imagine..... I may love this man in a much different way but by no means no less. I can say my love if anything is much stronger and has evolved into a much more caring and understanding relationship.

A Saturday with Seth & Taylar

I had originally planned to spend the day scrapbooking with Mandy, you see we had gone to the scrapbook expo and spent the entire day looking at really neat ideas and buying some new stuff to get started again with our books.

Well, we all know how plans can change.....

When two of my little ones come over grandma has to spend the day playing with the little ones.

With working two jobs I don't really get alot of time to spend with family so I cherish all the time I get with my grandkids. THEY ARE WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT.......

This is Seth's golf stance while playing the Wii, now I may just be a proud grandma, but I think we have a future Tiger Woods on our hands. LOL

AND he is certainly not camera shy, all you have to do is ask his to smile. It may be cheesy but you'll get one.

What a follow through, I'll bet that ball went far. The look of determination on his face is a dead giveaway he meant business. The concentration of a pro at such a young age what did I tell you.

After mastering golf it was on to Monster Trucks, his driving ability was much better than grandmas. It's a sad day when a 3 year old can drive better then you even if it is just a game. LOL

Seth could play these games for hours, so much for interacting with grandkids anymore. However they are wonderful baby sisters.

NOW, as for little sister she takes after mom. The telephone is her best friend, she figured out how to hold it at an early age. It be in the genes.

She just couldn't get enough of Stormie, I am so glad by dogs love my grandkids. It makes it so nice to know that I don't have to worry about bites.

I tell you this went on for hours, these two are good buddies, all my grandkids just love following Stormie and holding her little stump of a tail, they think it is a riot.

Grandma finally got her attention long enough to get this picture, WHAT A CUTIE.

Saturday night turned out GREAT, I went to the JAZZ game with hubby and it was a really great game, it started out strong and ended out excited. talk about close. WOW....

I have really been a slacker about my blog, I spent a great
Saturday with Mandy & Taylar we started with lunch,
pedicures and all day of shopping. We didn't get home until
7 at night, what a day. Sunday Robin fixed a wonderful
dinner. What a finish to a great weekend.

Picture Day

Last Saturday Mandy wanted to get pictures of her kids so off to Kiddie Kandid we are, as you can see Joel tagged along and he got to have his picture taken. It would have really been great if I could have had Jay & Sharee's little one's than I could have had all six grandkids pictures. That would have been a chore to try and get them all to smile at the same time. We didn't even try to get one of these three to gather, that would have been just to much for this one grandma to do. I would have needed drugs....LOL

Not that I am parcel to these three, but are they not the cutest little ones in all of Ogden? Well, I had to limit the area :-) didn't I? I just wouldn't have been fair to the world...LOL..LOL

A Night at Chucky Cheese

Ok, so Grandpa Beano & Grandma braved Chucky Cheese
with Mandy, Spence and the kids. After the little ones spent
the night at grandmas house. What was I thinking :-O

Talk about a cheesy grin, Seth is such a crack up.

Joel wasn't sure about that hairy mouse behind him.

This pizza sucked, it was a good thing we didn 't really go there

just for the food, that would have been a big let down. I have

never tasted such lousy pizza. But you know kids they will eat

almost anything. LOL

Joel was rocking out to the music, what a ham :-)

Then came what ride they had, The kids loved them.

the Mr Cheese. All in All the kids had a great time. Off to grandma's
house to spend the night. What the H_ _ _ _ am I smiling about?...LOL

Superbowl Sunday 2009

Robin & I spent Superbowl Sunday with my cousin & his family,

it was a riot. Good food, fun, family & friends. When we got
there I wanted to get a picture first because when the game

started we where all have to much fun.

This is Curtis, Brent, Me, Brad & Carrie. Brent is my Cuz &

the others are his kids. I'll bet you could hardly tell...LOL

This is Sandy, Brent's wife. I just love her, it is such a small

world we grew up together from little girls. Our parents where

best friends and we all had cabins at Bear Lake so we all spent

summers up there. Sandy is one of the funnest friends I have

she is the best. We spent 10 days in Oregon with these guys this

summer and couldn't of had a better time!!!

I don't think Brad was winning much on this game at

this point. Cheer up you'll win later :-)

This is Anna that Robin is talking to her husband and her are

going to Nascar with us and my cuz at the end of the month.

We are going with about 8 couple pulling our 5th wheels to

Las Vegas for 6 day to was Nascar. Anna and her husband

are a riot, they are also going to Oregon with the crowd in

September they are the one's that go every year (old pros).

LOL... we are all going crabbing fun, fun, fun...10 days on the

Oregon Coast again this year. Yeah.

The game is over, end of the day. Wow we all still look happy

a few winners, a few losers. Oh well maybe next year.

All in all it was a great day. Robin and I where the last ones

to leave, in fact we didn't get home until 11:00 pm, talk about

wearing out your welcome. LOL
