Potty Time

Today is a very exciting day, Seth has been going potty all day long, he is doing so good that his mom and dad are taking him to get his new bike that the promised if he go into big boy undies. YEA!!!!!!!! Mandy is going to take pictures for me so I can post them on my site.

Mother - Daughter - Granddaughter weekend

Mandy and I spent all day Saturday at the Scrapbook Expo along with Taylar, we had such a wonderful time. We stopped at every booth and got such good ideas, we can't hardly wait to start and scrapbook again. Taylar was such a little angel, I couldn't believe she was so good, that must be an indication that she we be a good little shopper like mom and grandma. Crystal wanted to come however her family went camping to Moab. We missed her, maybe next time. I now have enough supplies that Mandy and I can scrapbook every Saturday, and we certainly have them planned. I just love spending time with my girls, we have become much closer now that they have children of there own. I couldn't ask for better son in laws, they are also the best.

Chance's 5th Birthday

This is just a little late, the family celebrated Chance's 5Th birthday on Wednesday April 16Th. I can't believe how fast my grand kids are growing up. It was so close to his little brother coming home from the hospital that we just had cake and ice cream, it was a fun time anyway.

Chance made out like a bandit, we got him a teeter tater and his mom and dad got him a full size basketball backboard. His back yard looks just like a play ground with all the fun stuff to the kids to play with.

Chance took his time opening all his gifts and you can be sure that all the kids where willing to help him.

Kendra was the little one in the yellow shirt, she was so sick that night it was all she could do to work up the energy to help big brother.

Grandma and Grandpa Great are so happy to come to the birthday parties. Grandma great had a wonderful time holding her new little great grand baby (Jaxon), she was just in heaven.

I couldn't tell who was smiling the biggest, grandma or grandpa great. Jaxon was so alert and awake it made the visit even more enjoyable.

An of course little Taylar made her self at home on Grandma Thackeray's lap. I was in heaven along with Coy and Jay. The weather was just a little chilly but that didn't damper our fun. Jay made time to put Chance's toys together the following Friday and all the kids had a ball on them. Kendra and Seth are about the same age to enjoy the teeter tauter.

The Baby came Home

Jackson came home on Saturday afternoon, the doctor said everything looks great. Robin and I went to see him. Grandma had to hold him for the first time since her was born. He is sooooooo cute, he looks just like his dad. Sharee was so glad he was home, the hardest thing for a mother to do is check out of the hospital after giving birth to go home and have to leave the little one there. I just couldn't imagine.
Anyway he his home happy and healthy.

Today was the big day, we reported to the hospital at 7am sharp, Sharee changed into a gown that was perfect for the occasion.

After a hug for luck, we started for the long day ahead.

The nurses where great, they checked on Sharee on a regular basis and made sure everything was OK.

Chance and Kendra could feel the excitement in the air, they stayed on their best behavior.

I think that we spent as much time in the hallway as we did in the room, and the kids where great.

Kendra took a nap and grandma tried to catch one with her.

Finally the time came along with little Jaxon S. Thackeray. He was born at 4:47 pm weighing in at 8lbs 10ozs.

He was having a hard time breathing so the doctors whisked him away to NICU, that was a little worrisome.

After the doctors did their testing they decided to keep him in the NICU for at least 48 hrs to make sure all is well.

We couldn't be happier that the little fellow will be OK.

Mom is a little sad, its hard to have a baby and not get to hold him right away. Maybe tonight she will be able to go visit.

Time For Baby

Off to the hospital we go in the morning, 7am sharp. I am not sure how long it will take that part will be up to junior. LOL.... Mom and Dad are still trying to come to some agreement to what his name will be. Hope to have cute pictures to show in the afternoon.
