Camping on Memorial Weekend

We had decided to go camping up to the Eagles camp ground over the Memorial Day weekend,I have been a member of the Eagles for 32 years. My mother was a past president of the auxiliary, she would be rolling over in her grave if she could see how things have been let to go to hell. Oh well, we had a real good time anyway. Here are a few pictures that where taken over the weekend.

The weekend got started with
grandma pushing Seth in a swing.

Seth could swing all day long.

Seth and Joel headed to the
play ground for more fun. I
thought this was the sweetest
shot of the weekend.

Grandma & Crystal even got
into the act. I think we had
as much fun as the little
ones did.

You can just see the joy in Joel's face.

Look who's cooking & hard at it,
they did a great job we will
sure let them cook for us again.

Joel had to show mom how he
could eat all by his self.

I wonder if he could have
opened any wider?

Robin & I visited with some
friends that have a spot at
the Eagles. Steve & Sue Lewis.
Robin & Steve watched as the dogs
got along.

I kind of think one looks more
like a horse.

Then we all got to see the
better side of Steve. LOL

Shane & Joel starting the
next morning.

I think that KC was hoping that
Joel would go home and leave
her alone.

While playing Yahtzee with Fran
& Crystal, we saw this little
groundhog popping up from the
ground, so Crystal was setting
crackers for the little guy
to eat. After filling his
belly he was gone.

Then grandpa had a water problem
with our trailer so Joel wanted
to help see what the problem
was.

More pictures of the kids having
fun, we had a great time. Even
if the weather was a bit rainy.

Mother's Day

This is for Mom, whom I miss each and every day.
I love you Mom.

Mother's day was great, the kids had a wonderful dinner for Robin & I Saturday night at Mandy's house. It's not very often that Jay let's me get a picture of him, so I guess that he could give in once a year for me. Sitting on his lap is my little Kendra, Jay's daughter. Isn't she a doll.

The kids got me gift cards this year & of course Seth had to help grandma open her cards. Mandy is so funny, she told Crystal and Jay not to give me any gift cards that I was able to spend on the grandkids. Does she know me of what. LOL

Now if was picture time, I had to have pictures of my beautiful little ones. This is Chance my oldest, he has just started school this years. Grandma and Grandpa are so proud of him.

This is Kendra, she is Chances little sister. I think she is going to be a little tomboy and a little lady. She is the most petite little cutie I have ever seen.

This is Jackson, I thought the kids where going to spell his name Jaxon but they really didn't like it that way. I am so glad, I really like the traditional way of spelling. He is such a good baby that I could have kissed his little cheeks all night long. These are Jay and Sharee's litte ones.

This little guy is Shane and Crystal's son, Joel. He is such an adorable little one, I can't believe what a personality he has.

Seth and Taylar are Spence and Mandy's. Seth is a little character, he can also be a little smart ass. Taylar is my beautiful little Mandy all over again.

THIS IS WHAT THE CIRCLE OF LIFE IS ALL ABOUT!!

Chance just learned to ride his bike without his training wheels and Seth just learned to ride a bike, Grandma and Grandpa had to go see them ride.

They wanted to race, I'll bet you can guess who won this one! My goodness they where going fast. I scared grandma.

It was so cute, Seth had to wave each time he passed by. What a little show off. Gee he reminds me of me.

I couldn't believe how fast his little legs could peddle. What a dynamo!!

Chance was a little rider also, he was really showing his little cousin how it was done.

Pretty soon all the little ones where out riding something. I was lucky that Mandy had enough toys for all the kids to ride. Joel thought this 4 wheeler was great.

This little scooter was just a bit confusing for Joel to catch on to, Mom had to help.

Still just to confusing, even Mom couldn't help enough.

It wasn't long before Kendra got into the picture.

Kendra did need a little help, thank goodness for Aunt Crystal.

Taylar enjoyed the view from Mom's arms. She is such a little character.

All the moms enjoyed by watching on the sidelines. It was great to watch the little ones having such a fun night.

The Dad's watched the kids by shooting the shit, and I mean they are full of it.

At the end of the night, we tried to take a picture of all the grandkids and most of them didn't mind. But there is always one that isn't very happy.

This morning Denise and Scooter went to breakfast with us, she sure does love my grandkids.

It sure does look like Taylar kind of likes aunt Denise also.
